Ever since I can remember, I’ve loved photos. I loved taking them, being in them — I loved it all. The idea that a fleeting moment could be captured and last forever has always mesmerized me. I was always the friend who said, “Wait, let’s take a picture!” And although I didn’t know it at the time, that little habit would one day become my greatest passion.

My love for photography deepened when I got married and had my first baby. I wanted to document everything — the quiet moments, the milestones, the love my husband and I would one day show our children. When our first baby arrived, I felt that pull even stronger. Watching him grow each day made me realize how quickly time moves and how important it is to preserve it.

That feeling only grew when our second child was born. My children and my husband are my why. They are the reason I understand how meaningful it is to capture the season you’re in — because time doesn’t stand still, but photographs let us hold onto it just a little longer.
